April 2006 - Earth Day Month

AWS has many ways for volunteers to help Start The Anacostia Restoration Today. Click on the links below for information about each type of volunteer opportunities. 
AWS has continued to develop the Watershed Explorer's (WE) and River Habitat (RH) Education Programs which are currently being taught in many local DC Metro area schools.  These programs run throughout the school year and are too many to list on this calendar.   If interested please contact us.

Volunteers needed! Meet at the end of Denise Drive off Rollins Ave. in Capitol Heights. Or if traveling by metro, meet at Capitol Heights Station to pick up shuttle to cleanup (8:45 - 9:15a.m.).
