10:00AM - 3:00PM:- AWS Assists MNCPPC Weed Warriors establish invasive control models.
Join Marc Imlay, Conservation Biologist at Little Paint Branch Park and Cherry Hill Road Community Park, Beltsville, MD.
Our day will include natural history and special features of the park, methods and reasons for the project to control the spread of invasives. Native flowers and other plants will be identified as we work to rescue them. There will be a sign-in and safety orientation with handouts. Gloves and tools are provided. Our objective is to remove the invasives to allow natives to grow back.

Join Pat Gladding at Magruder Park for native plant revegetation. Group will be planting native plants along the Northwest Branch of the Anacostia near the 38th St. bridge. Please join us!

ANACOSTIA RIVER EARTH DAY CLEANUP & CELEBRATION

8:30AM - 12:00PM:- Cleanup drives at various sites within the Anacostia River Watershed.
